Moodpage ("the app," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app uses and how.
Everything you write in Moodpage — your entries, your mood tags, and the reflections the app generates — is stored only on your device. We do not upload, transmit, read, or back up your entries. We cannot see them. There is no server, no account, and no sync. If you delete the app, your entries are deleted with it.
The short reflective message shown after each entry is created entirely on your device using Apple's built-in NaturalLanguage framework and a set of pre-written phrases included in the app. Your writing is never sent to us, to an AI service, or to any other company for analysis.
The app does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or contact information.
The free version of the app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device information (such as advertising identifiers) to show and measure ads. When the app asks, you can choose whether to allow tracking; if you decline, you still get to use everything in the app. Your journal entries are never shared with advertisers or used to target ads.
Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and manage ad personalization at Google Ad Settings.
Subscribing to Moodpage Premium removes all ads.
Optional paid subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. You can manage or cancel anytime in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.
If you turn on the daily reminder, the notification is scheduled by your own device. No reminder data is sent anywhere, and we are not notified whether you write or not.
If you turn on the optional app lock, authentication is handled entirely by iOS. The app is only told whether the unlock succeeded. We never receive your Face ID data, fingerprint, or passcode.
The app relies on these services, which may process limited device information to work:
